If it would support Ubuntu, would it then be as simple as using two bog standard HDMI to HDMI cables going from each output port to each monitor? Would the laptop pick up both monitors automatically or would I have to install drivers etc? this but I'm not sure if it would support Ubuntu - it mentions for a true dual monitor setup it only supports Windows but not MacOS, so no mention of Linux, but seeing as Linux is a lot closer to MacOS than Windows it makes me think possibly not?
